How the Best Performing Wines Compare?
Vintage wine gets better with age, it becomes scarcer which increases its value over time. There’s nothing else to it, however, I’m always being asked by clients ‘what are the best performing wines?’

1. DRC TACHE 2004
Now valued at around £36,000 a case, the Drc Tache 2014 was released 16 years ago at £9,600. That’s an increase of over 370%.
2. PETIT MOUTON 2011
Now valued at around £14,400 a case, the Petit Mouton 2011 was released 16 years ago at £9,000. That’s an increase of over 160%.
3. MOUTON ROTHSCHILD 2003
Now valued at approx £21,600 a case, Mouton Rothschild 2003 was released 17 years ago at £9,200. A 234% increase.
